In collaboration with Federation Chamber of Commerce & Industry and UNCTAD (Bangkok Regional Centre), Series of Seminars and Conferences were organized in Pakistan to project modern concept of Freight Forwarding and at a later stage multi modal transport. These events were arranged in various major cities of every province of Pakistan with large participation of representative of various ministries, Central Bank, Commercial Bank, Maritime Agencies, customs, Port and Airport Authorities
Mounted a sustained campaign in Press to fight against orders issued by a government department to ban consolidation in Pakistan and successfully reversed the orders
Formed Freight Forwarders Council under the aegis of Federation Chamber of Commerce and Industry
Formed International Courier Council under the aegis of Federation Chamber of Commerce and Industry and fought successfully against takeover of courier industry as a regulator by Postal Authorities even a bill which went through half way through to legalize postal takeover was recalled by the government in the face of successfully campaign mounted by Courier Council under the the leader ship of SAL’s Directors
